The History of Shoppe:
While Sonia was at Design Indaba, she was awed by the talent of South African designers and realised that Durban had very little exposure to designers and artists from other parts of our beautiful country. The idea of sharing this with Durbanites inspired her to open up Shoppe. She was fortunate enough to discover just the right ambient space to start her dream project and promptly set to work sourcing collections of locally designed and crafted décor items and art pieces.
